Yappy Hour & Freestyle Dancing With Your Dog
February 19 from 6-8 pm in Sudbury Location
Join us on Friday, February 19 from 6-8pm for a fun night out with your pooch! Socialize with other dog lovers in a friendly environment, sample some goodies and try your paws at freestyle dancing. Your $10 donation to Pug Rescue of New England (PRoNE) gets you in the door to enjoy Dirty DogTini’s, Bark-a-rita’s, ‘appawtizers’, a doggie buffet and of course, enjoy dancing!
Be sure to bring your appetite! Merrick Treats will be offering sausage treats and a delicious dog buffet. In addition, My Dog Ate It Catering will be on hand serving up locally-baked, all natural ‘appawtizers’ for the canines. Rossini’s Pizzeria of Sudbury will be here with yummy appetizers for the humans.
Especially for Pets’ dog trainer Christine Macdonald will demonstrate freestyle with her dog, Mercedes and lead participants through some basic commands like downs and sit stays; and for those thrill seekers, she’ll teach a little movement, such as swirls! Especially for Pets & the Adoption Initiative Choose Pug Rescue of New England
Especially for Pets teams up with local non-profits and rescue organizations to promote pets available for adoption as well as to raise awareness about the work being done in the rescue community. It is their ultimate goal to educate customers about what the specific organizations do, collect donations for their use and, ultimately to help the organizations to place homeless animals in permanent, loving homes.
From January through June 2010 the Especially for Pets store in Canton will be partnering with Pug Rescue of New England. You can visit the shop to check out the Adoption Board to see photos of the pugs available for adoption and/or pick up a copy of our ‘Wish List’. We'll also be holding adoption info days at the Canton ship, we'll post the dates as soon as they're finalized. The Canton store is located at 95 Washington Street (in the Village Shoppes).
